Scott writing again.....apparently
the family blogging duties have been passed to me for a time. I'm not sure if this is some sort of right of passage or a test to see if I'm going to say the right things about our family. I have to admit that I've considered adding some very unappropriated material in this blog in hopes of losing my family blogging privileges. But I resisted. So, I guess for now I get to write about us. I find myself honored yet horrified at the same time. I mean, what if I say the wrong thing? Imagine the shame and embarrassment I can cause our family! In my last post had I crafted my words poorly I could have said that
Sheri is smokin' pot instead of smokin' hot. How horrible. So, with this added stress and pressure I proceed with the latest family news.......

.....
we cut the kids hair. To many families this is really no big deal, but to ours this is only a semi-annual event. I couldn't tell you the last time Jenna had a haircut and Jack gets only 2 or 3 each year. No, we're not cheap, I'm just jealous that I can't grow my hair out into anything other than an afro
so I live vicariously through my sons melon.

Jacks locks made him look like a little surfer dude. Only problem is that his head was so hot that we've had to wash his pillow case every morning. He now sports a spiky yet hip look. I have to admit sadness for cutting his hair, but I'm very happy with the result!

Jenna looks like she 5 going on 13. She's excited because her is similar to her teachers. We catch her running around flinging her head so her hair will flip. She looks like a bobble head doll.

We did follow the only and more important rule about hair cutting.....have
a very energetic and outgoing gay guy decide on the style and cut. You can't go wrong with that simple yet profound advice.

Oh, while digging through pictures for this blog I came across this pic from Sheri's trip. I have no idea what the heck is happening, but something just doesn't seem right. I mean it's not that often that I walk into a restaurant and see some guys head in a box on the table and two babies laying next to it. Utah is a really weird place. I'm sure there is a good story here, but frankly the ones I'm making up in my head are probably better than the truth.
So, I thought we'd have some fun with this. Everyone please write a funny caption for this insane picture. Add a comment below with your caption and we'll post some of the funniest in a future blog!

Cute haircuts. I'm not sure when we will give Fin a trim. The kid won't hold still even if we bribe her.
Jenna looks like a teen-ager (way too cute) and Jack looks like he is up to something.....
Considering one of those babies is mine I felt compelled to comment.
We were effectively passing babies to all the aunties via a lazy suan on the Pope Head table at Buca di Beppo. It was pretty funny..I should have taken video. We miss you guys already!
Jenna looks like Luka now..CRAZY!
You guys are so funny! I'm still laughing typing this! Is Sheri back from her trip yet? We need to get together soon.
Sorry, I tried to come up with a good comment, but nothing good came of it. Here's my best: "Maybe Mom really means it - if we don't start sleeping through the night she's going to turn into stone (or was that a stoner?)"
Baby on left speaking: "If that is the only thing on the menu, forget it..somebody is too creative with milk jello molds..even if it is Utah!!! Give me my bottle...gg
Jenna..your new haircut perfect..my mind flipped to the
'30's, and younger sister Joyce.
Lovely..but the three of ya'll, head to head photo..the best of all!
Scotty--Grandpa Jim would love all your writings..would look at me, grin, and quip.."My Main Man"
The haircuts are sooooo cute! I'll admit, I'm cheap, so us girls get our hair cut like once a year in our fam. hahaha
Sheri! Happy Birthday today! I was going to call but now it's like 10:00 and probably too late. I hope you had a good day!!! We should have gone and celebrated together. Maybe we could do some be-lated thing for both of us.
TIME TO POST AGAIN GUYS.
Love you.
You did a great job Scott- I know how terrifying blogging can be :-) Your kids are growing so fast- I love their hair cuts, very cute! I have no idea what to say with that picture, it definitely took me back!
