So we have this dog that we have had for about a month now. What a month. He was left at my sisters work petco . The note he was left with said he was 2 his name was bear, a rat terrier mix, pottytrained, good with kids, liked to be covered up and play ball. My sister thought it would be a perfect match.
What the note didn't say.
-----I am obsessed with women
-----My bed is your bed
-----When we drive in the car I must ride on the drivers lap.
He is a good dog. Jack bothers bear all the time and he just runs away. We have been trying to figure this dog out. He follows me everywhere even to the bathroom. Wants to sleep with me. The first couple nights we thought he might be crate trained boy we were wrong he kept us both us all night. We now have him sleeping on a dog bed next to my bed. I still will feel him some nights climb into the end of my bed under the covers. I may be evil but I cannot sleep with a dog. Anyone who knows Scott and I well know that we do not share covers. I have my queen size cover and he has his. We do not share, so if I don't share with my husband I am not sharing with a dog. I cannot stand dog hair he is a shedding machine. To be honest when i found a piece of hair on my chicken last week I snaped THE DOG IS GONE. I am feeling better this week about the dog but he still drives me nut with his constant following me. I mean I cannot even take a pee, without telling that dog to leave. So if anyone knows how to make this dog more independent please comment.

Our dog is the antithesis of independent. I think she may actually have separation anxiety So I'm no help. Cute dog though! I love his coloring. And he looks like he's a great size. I'm feeling much better so hope I can catch up with you this week.
He doesn't bark all the time, he doesn't bite the kids, and he doesn't jump. I don't know if you can as for better than that. Although, a dog is supposed to bring fun. If he is not fun..........
We too made the mistake of getting a dog. It is a great dog, but I don't like dogs! He follows me around ALL day, it drives me crazy. We can't go on vacation without making dog arrangments. Its too late for us, the kids are attached. Get rid of him now!!!! That is my suggestion.
I can't believe you got a dog. You're braver than I am. And... a better mom I'm sure the kids love it!

I have the perfect solution - buy your dog a dog of it's own!!! Then it will have someone to take care of!!! See- I'm brilliant!!
